Standards & Accountability

Standards setting, accountability and transparency remain core RBA activities that set a baseline for members’ supply chain sustainability

Standards & Accountability

The RBA was founded with the idea of a shared industry code of conduct on key social, environmental and ethical issues in the electronics industry supply chain. Through a shared code of conduct pegged to international standards and best practices, RBA members and their Tier 1 suppliers follow standards in line with international norms that respect human rights, protect the environment and demand ethical corporate behavior that supports social and economic development around the world.

While the activities of the RBA today go far beyond compliance, standards setting, accountability and transparency remain a core RBA activity that sets an important baseline for members’ supply chain sustainability.
