Nurul Hasanah

Nurul has more than 20 years of experience in sustainability, human rights, and public policy across corporate and regulatory environments. She has led organizations in navigating complex ESG requirements, strengthening governance, and aligning business practices with evolving global standards. She has spearheaded large-scale transformation initiatives, including resolving critical market access challenges related to Withhold Release Orders (WRO) through comprehensive human rights remediation and system-wide reforms. Nurul holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia, and is an alumna of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP).
