WASHINGTON, D.C., December 7, 2012 – The Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) and Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition® (EICC®) are pleased to announce Version 2.0 of the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (Template), developed to facilitate disclosure and the communication of information regarding smelters and refiners that provide material to a company’s supply chain. The complementary MRPRO Dashboard has also recently been updated to be compatible with the new Template Release. GeSI, the EICC, partner associations AIAG, JEITA, RILA, and partner companies invite companies from all sectors to use these tools to help meet the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) final rule pursuant to Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
